I just cried my way through Season 4, Episode 2(or 3 depending on if you split the two-part first episode) of Star Trek Deep Space Nine, called “The Visitor.”

Pretty much from the accident on, I was crying at every little thing Jake had to go through. And then the ending… when Sisko makes it back…

In 15 years of knowing you, I can think of maybe three times that I have seen you cry when you haven’t been on your period. You are just not someone who is openly emotional about things. I know that women who are on a battery of medication for other hormonal imbalances often have difficulty with hormone regulation during their menstrual cycle. But I don’t have a PhD in Periods like that other chick so I guess I don’t know the personal emotional and hormonal details of every woman in the worlds period, including yours and how it affects their behaviour. I just have a little old degree in psychology.
